Project Outline
From under the stairs to national award-winners
Rick and Vicky McCann were frustrated. They were only converting 20% of their landlord meetings, despite being confident their service was better than their competitors. They had the reviews and results to prove it. They wanted to create a confident brand that would help them showcase their work more effectively and increase conversions. We worked with them to refine their language, optimise their sales process, and create visuals to make them stand out.
Clarity & Story
After conversations with Rick, Vicky, and the team, we found that the core of their service was the efficiency created by being 'small'. They had the space and energy to invest in relationships. We often assume that bigger companies are more efficient, but the opposite was true here. The key ingredient that At Home in Edinburgh could build on was their investment in relationships with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
Design & Touchpoints
We provided design work for print, shop and vehicle livery, and digital media. One of the key pieces we created was a landlord guide that helped facilitate perfectly smooth conversations with landlords, making the process simple and easy for them. Their success in landlord meetings jumped from 20% to 80%.
Results
As part of the process, we chose to study one of their main competitors. They had won a key national award the year prior. We asked: how can we absorb the best of what they do and improve on it? The result speaks for itself – At Home in Edinburgh, armed with their new brand, went on to win the same award the following two years running. They were no longer one among many letting agents, but the best of the bunch.
